The relationships between geography, economic power and foreign policy are shifting. For Australia, this new global environment will have significant implications. This session will explore Australia’s place in a changed and sometimes challenging multi-polar world. Southeast Asia is often overlooked as an investment destination. But with solid fundamentals and dynamic economies, the diverse set of countries in Southeast Asia offer many opportunities. Our panellists will provide key insights for investors looking to capitalise on this exciting and strategically important region. The resources sector will always be a significant contributor to Australia’s economic future. But with the energy transition now at a critical juncture, the sector faces both opportunities and challenges. This session will discuss how the sector is adapting to the decarbonisation challenge and the opportunities a less carbon intensive resources industry presents for investors.AI has many applications, especially in the areas of medical research and health care. Our panellists will discuss the latest developments in this area, the adoption of AI by health care companies and the opportunities that may arise for investors in the digital health sector.
